Zezi developed a strong interest in art at an early age. She spent years of her education drawing and painting before ultimately receving a Master degree in art from Pratt Institute. She served as an art teacher in NYC for six years before she started tattooing.

After accruing substantial experience in fineline tattooing, she was eager to spread the style to places where it is less well-known. To this end, Zezi moved to Seattle in 2022 and founded Finer Things Tattoo Studio.

Fionna, a native of the Philadelphia/South Jersey area, cultivated her talents through her studies at Rutgers University, where she graduated with high honors and earned a degree in Fine Arts, specializing in 2D animation.

Fionna dedicates her drive and resilience to her mother, who has always encouraged her to pursue her passions. After receiving her first tattoo at 18, she has always aspired to a career in tattooing. When Fionna moved to Seattle in August 2023, she followed her gut and applied for an apprenticeship with Zezi at Finer Things Tattoo in November of the same year. Fionna is now training to become the Shop Manager and working as an Apprentice to hone her craft.

Specializes black and grey, dark art tattoos.

From a very young age, Leila would answer questions about what she wanted to be when she grew up with "Artist". She received a Bachelor's Degree from UW in Fine Arts, with a specialty in painting & drawing, and even graduated from the Honors Fine Arts program. Tattooing has always been something that she wanted to do, but her younger self didn't have the confidence to pursue it. Finally, after making a new commitment to giving the industry a shot, she landed an apprenticeship with Zezi at FinerThingTattoo. For Leila, the practice of tattooing allows her to share her love of art in a much more direct and meaningful way, and this apprenticeship has confirmed that this is what she is meant to be doing. Due to her natural love of darker media such as horror movies, metal music, and the gothic/grunge aesthetic (she was born in Olympia, after all), Leila enjoys taking on projects that bring out the beauty that hides in the dark. She is ecstatic to be given this opportunity to work with you!
